The April 2012 edition of Research & Practice looks at the three benchmark areas in which the College outperformed other large community colleges on the Survey of Entering Student Engagement (SENSE). The survey is designed to provide a clear picture of student behaviors in the earliest weeks of college and institutional practices that impact those behaviors.
The College scored above average in the areas of Clear Academic Plan and Pathway, Academic and Social Support Network, and Effective Track to College Readiness.
This is the first time the College has participated in the survey.
