Montgomery County Community College’s Nursing Program will host an on-campus site review as part of the re-accreditation of its Associate Degree Nursing Program by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
The College invites all interested parties to meet the site visiting team and share comments about the Nursing Program at a meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 19, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Room 320/322 in Parkhouse Hall, Central Campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell. Anyone interested in attending should call 215-641-6431 to confirm seating for this meeting.
The College also welcomes written comments, which should be submitted directly to Dr. Sharon Tanner, Executive Director, 3342 Peachtree Road NE, Suite 850, Atlanta, GA 30326 or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. All written comments should be received by NLNAC by Oct. 8, 2011.
Accreditation is a voluntary, self-regulatory process in which NLNAC evaluates the Associate Degree Nursing Program to determine if it meets or exceeds the standards and criteria for educational quality. The College’s Associate Degree Nursing Program is currently accredited, and the College undergoes the re-accreditation process for the program every eight years.
