Montgomery County Community College is highlighted for its work to build transfer agreements with selective four-year colleges and universities in a national study, titled Transfer and Articulation from Community Colleges to Four-Year Institutions: Hope on the Horizon. The study is published by the SOURCE on Community College Issues, Trends & Strategies with support from Western Governors University.

The College is featured in a section titled “Pennsylvania Community College Increases Opportunities for Transfers” on pages 16-17 of the report. In the report, College President Dr. Karen A. Stout explains the way in which community colleges “are looking at completion in a holistic way,” which extends beyond earning an associate degree or credential to a student’s success after he or she transfers.
